After some family health scares recently, I am finally crawling my way back to a somewhat normal routine. Routine and normal for a weird little goblin person, anyway. We’ve been planning projects (books and decks) for the next couple of years and I’ve been desperately trying to stay afloat with my manuscript due dates so I continue to have fun new stuff to share with y’all.
But in the meantime, the fun stuff I can share right now are:
We are doing a Kickstarter for the Unfuck Your Brain deck! The original plan was to make a deck of quotes from the book. But since I’m not big on doing things the easy way, I wrote all new skills and affirmations (listed in the deck as Healing and enCOURAGEment). The idea is that they embody the same vibe as the book (how healing happens and why you are worth it) while being something entirely new. If you like my decks already you will LOVE this one. And if you haven’t seen the decks but are an Unfuck Your Brain superfan, you will ALSO LOVE this one!
Super pinky promise!
Backing the Kickstarter not only helps us offset print costs early, it gives us an idea of how popular anything we are publishing will be. You also will get your deck first. They will be shipping out before I even get my own box of author copies.
Speaking of my own author copies, Baby Nephew and I uncovered some random odds and ends like some book translations and audio books on CD and a few regular books I don’t have many copies of and put them in the Etsy store under the category “limited stock.” And this isn’t a fake closeout sale…I am not expecting any of these items to be restocked so if you want it and can afford it, snag it now!
Now, this is where I would ask how y’all are doing. But :::gestures vaguely at everything::: the near universal answer right now is not fucking great. And that sucks. And I’m sorry. And we are all trying to fight back while fighting burnout. And making sure we experience some joy because, dammit, that’s important to fighting burnout. I’m glad you are still hanging in. I know it’s just barely, cuz same. Thanks for staying in the fight and on the planet. I know how tempting exiting either can feel. Choosing otherwise, no matter how messy and exhausted you feel, is strong as hell. I’ll fight along side, you’re not alone.
